Working Process of Industrial Reverse Osmosis Water Filter

1. Pretreatment stage:
Raw water (tap water, groundwater, etc.) is filtered through a PP cotton filter to remove large particles of impurities.
Residual chlorine, odor and organic matter are removed through an activated carbon filter.
Further deep purification is performed through a compressed activated carbon filter.
2. Reverse osmosis stage:
The pretreated water enters a high-pressure pump and is pressurized before entering a RO reverse osmosis membrane for filtration.
The RO membrane removes heavy metals, viruses, bacteria, salts, and soluble solids from the water, producing pure water, while wastewater is discharged.
3. Post-treatment stage (optional):
Pure water can be further adjusted to taste through a post-activated carbon filter.
When ultrapure water is needed, it can be further processed through an EDI module or a secondary RO system.
Storage and distribution:
The filtered pure water enters a water storage tank and is transported to the terminal equipment or production line through a water supply pump.

Filter Introduction

Industrial RO water filter usually contains the following main filter elements:
• PP cotton filter element (5μm): removes large particle impurities such as mud, rust, suspended matter, etc. in water.
• Granular activated carbon filter element (UDF): adsorbs residual chlorine, odor, and some organic matter in water.
• Compressed activated carbon filter element (CTO): further removes odor, improves taste, and protects RO membrane.
• RO reverse osmosis membrane (0.0001μm): core filter component, effectively removes heavy metals, bacteria, viruses, soluble solids, etc.
• Post-activated carbon filter element (T33, optional): can improve the taste of water and make the water sweeter.
• Softening resin filter element (optional): used to reduce the hardness of water and prevent scaling.

Gofine supports ordering filter element combinations, which can be adjusted according to different needs. Reasonable filter element combinations can increase service life.
