Core production process
An efficient, automated seedling substrate production line consists of four key steps, ensuring continuous and stable production from raw materials to finished product:
1. Raw Material Pretreatment and Crushing
Large raw materials (such as coconut bricks and peat) are crushed and defibrated in a dedicated crusher before being conveyed to the next process via a conveyor, paving the way for uniform mixing.
2. Precise and Automatic Batching
The pretreated main and auxiliary materials (perlite, vermiculite, fertilizer, etc.) are fed separately into a precision batching system. The system measures the materials by volume or weight according to pre-set recipes, ensuring precise proportions of all ingredients, which is crucial for consistent product quality.
3. Efficient and Uniform Mixing
The mixed materials are conveyed by a conveyor into a horizontal ribbon mixer. This equipment uses gentle yet efficient three-dimensional mixing motion to uniformly distribute all components and moisture in a short period of time, while perfectly maintaining the substrate's loose physical structure.
4. Automated Packaging and Palletizing
The finished mixed substrate is metered, filled, and sealed by an automatic packaging machine into bags. It can also be connected to a robotic palletizer for automated stacking of finished products, significantly reducing labor costs and improving shipping efficiency.
